RULES
RULES:-
1. Registration for the events will begin at 8:30 a.m. on both days and will be open whole day. However,registration for a particular event will be closed an hour before the culmination of that event OR when the maximum participation for the event is reached.
2. Participants are requested to carry the identity cards of their institution for authentication.
3. Registration for the events will be considered on first come first serve basis. A team can have a minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 8 members. a) For a team of size 2-4 : Rs. -130/- per head
b) For a team of size 5-8 : Rs. 100/- per head .
4. It is mandatory for all participants in a team to belong to the same Institute/college.
5. There is no restriction on the number of teams from any Institute/College.
6. We have limited accommodation for outstation candidates. Registration for the same will be considered on first come first serve basis. Requirement for accommodation should be confirmed latest by 1st March 2010.For accomodation: email us at: envisage_10@south.du.ac.in
7. For a particular event only the maximum number of participants allowed for that event will be permitted. It is the participants' responsibility to be present at the respective event's time and venue.
8. It is necessary for the participants to use a given platform using the given tools only
9. The schedule for the events is subject to change by the Organizing Committee without any prior notice to the participating teams.The details ( if modified) will be conveyed at the venue of the event.
10. Decision of the judges will be considered final & will be subject to no further arguments.
11. Participants using unfair means will be subject to being disqualified along with all their team mates in all the events.
12. All disputes will be subject to Delhi jurisdiction only.

RULES FOR PRELIMS:-
1. Prelims will consist of Multiple Choice Questions and other objective questions.
Participants should have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL,
Javascript, ASP, ASp.NET and SQl.
2. Teams clearing Prelims will qualify for the Mains.
3. Duration: 20mins

1. Participants will need to design a dynamic website on the problem including the
features given.
2. Platform: Mac OSX, MAMP.
3. Duration: 8 hours

JUMBLED MADNESS(ICT quiz)
RULES:-
1. Each team will contain 2 participants.
2. Prelims will contain 30 questions to be done in 20 minutes.
3. Each question carries 4 marks.
4. For every incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.
5. Teams qualifying for the prelims will be selected for the main round that will be a stage event.
6. Decision of the judges will be considered final & will be subject to no further arguments.

RULES:-
1. The preliminary round consists of a set of MCQ's on open source.
2. Teams qualifying preliminary round will qualify for the mains.
3. Participants qualifying for mains will have to cross different level of hurdles in the open source quiz.

FOLLOW THE TRAIL(TREASURE HUNT)
RULES FOR PRELIMS:-
Total time duration: 20 mins
1) There will be 25 logical and reasoning based multiple choice questions.
2) 4 marks for each correct answer, and -1 for each wrong answer.
RULES FOR MAINS:-
Total time duration: 1 hour
1) Being a 3-levelled treasure hunt, each level will consist of a set of questions (+4 & -1)
such as logical and reasoning, anagrams, riddles, etc. consisting of clues to the next destination.
2) A team CANNOT move ahead unless they submit the answersheet of the respective level to our volunteers present at the destination.
3) The team members can't separate themselves into different destinations. They HAVE to be together all the time.
4) The result will depend upon the speed of the team, and the final cumulative score of all levels.
5) Any team found guilty of any malpractice during the event shall be disqualified from whole of the event, as such.

Prelims will be based on debugging in JAVA & C++.Each Team will consist of 2 participants.
The following rules are applicable here:
~There will be multiple type questions in 20 minutes time duration.
~There will be bonus marks for specific questions for tiebreaker
~There will be negative marking.
Rules for Mains:
.In mains questions will be based on coding in C++ & JAVA
~3 questions in 1 hr 30 min.
