Feeling a passion and living it , this is what adds a flavor to this world of technology and intrigues us to do something peculiar. This zeal to do something better can be just seen in all the activities organised by the IIC-ians.
Cultural awareness and participation play an integral role in IIC.
Our cultural programme has the following aims:
- To give all students the opportunity to be involved in culturally enriching activities.
- To give those students with special talents a chance to extend themselves and to grow in their area of expertise.
- To expand our student's appreciation of cultural activities.
- The student union organises various festivals like Dussera, Diwali, Holi, Id, Christmas along with few regional festivals like Lohri. This helps to sensitize all towards the wide spectrum of beliefs which have harmoniously coexisted in India and spreading the message of peace and brotherhood which have transpired since ages through these festivals.
In order to show their dedication towards their teachers, the Students celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm. It is the first event that is organised by the students every year. The students put together a fun-filled function including group dance, group songs and skit for the teachers in order to honour them and it was followed by lunch. To take a walk down the corridors of nostalgia, an annual alumni meet, Reminiscence takes place every year in the month of january with the motive of bringing alumni and students together in order to facilitate constant interaction with their alma mater so that they can share their experience with the current students to help them in overcoming the uncertainties. Distinguished alumni from different sectors like Consultancy, Finance and Banking, FMCG, IT and Software etc are invited to give a talk pertaining to their sectors, Panel Discussion thought provoking debates by alumni from various sectors on some of the despised, desired and debated topics in the institute today makes it an event not to be missed for sure.
